TULSA, Okla. — Governor Kevin Stitt is providing an update Tuesday afternoon on the state’s response to COVID-19, according to a news release by the governor’s office.
Gov. Stitt will be joined by Oklahoma Commissioner of Health Lance Frye, M.D. and other health care leaders.
This comes as health officials are concerned about the record breaking report of more than 4,000 cases in Oklahoma this weekend.
On Monday, EMSA told 2 Works for You that the Oklahoma Regional Medical Response System has confirmed there are no ICU beds available in the Tulsa area.
Stitt’s news conference is set to take place at 2 p.m. at OU Health Sciences Center.
