UF Health squeezing out extra COVID-19 vaccine doses from ‘overfilled vials’

Neilsen says hospitals in Florida currently have enough vaccines for first-shot doses, which they’ll continue giving to health care workers and the elderly. He says at that point, hospitals will be re-supplied with the second dose, which according to Neilsen, is scheduled for the first week of January.
