SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Not everyone is off campus this school year at Santa Barbara City College, especially those who are working to improve their physical health.
The college will allow in person fitness classes to students on campus.
Access to areas where fitness takes place, along with classes involving training and equipment, are all routinely sanitized.
Those coming to the classes get a temperature check, there’s physical distancing protocol and limits on the size of groups.
No more than 20 people are allowed in the same area.
In person physical fitness classes have added benefits to students by working with others and having an instructor.
Overall, exercise is vital to a healthy body and to be prepared for any challenges whether it’s from COVID-19 or another illness.
