The coronavirus pandemic, along with entering the flu season, has people searching for ways to boost their immune system.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, shared a few ways to strengthen your immune system and hopefully ward off the coronavirus during an interview withBusiness Insider.
In order to get your immune system in tip-top shape, Dr. Fauci says better than taking herbs and multivitamins, most adults should get at least hours of sleep, follow a good diet, and get rid of or eliminate stress.
Dr. Fauci also said,Sometimes people, when they don’t get out in the sun a lot, they’re deficient in vitamin D.He explained that low levels of Vitamin Dhave more of a propensity to get infected when there are infections around.
